EDS 3: Investment Climate and Policy Year-end Planning for 2027
Sustaining regional economic growth requires a predictable and competitive investment climate supported by responsive policies and effective collaboration between the public and private sectors. As Western Visayas continues to position itself as an emerging investment hub, strengthening the policy environment and identifying priority reforms remain essential to attract both domestic and foreign investments.
The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), through its Western Visayas office, will convene the third session of its Executive Dialogue Series focusing on Investment Climate & Policy Year-End Planning for 2027.
The dialogue aims to bring together senior government officials, industry leaders, and development partners to exchange insights on the region's investment competitiveness and discuss policy priorities that can further improve the ease of doing business in Western Visayas
Objectives
- Assess the current investment climate in Western Visayas, including opportunities and key challenges faced by businesses.
- Identify priority reforms and regulatory improvements needed to enhance the ease of doing business and competitiveness.
- Discuss investment trends and emerging sectors that can drive growth in 2027 and beyond.
- Facilitate constructive dialogue between government and private sector leaders to align policy priorities and investment strategies.
- Provide strategic inputs for year-end policy planning and investment promotion efforts for 2027.
