Regional Engagements

Western Visayas is steadily emerging as a dynamic investment destination, supported by expanding industries, growing trade activity, and stronger integration into domestic and international supply chains. As the region continues to attract new investments, efficient infrastructure and logistics systems are becoming increasingly critical to sustaining economic growth and enhancing regional competitiveness.

With the continued expansion of key sectors such as manufacturing, agribusiness, tourism, and maritime services, there is a growing need for improved transport connectivity, efficient port operations, and reliable logistics networks. Addressing infrastructure gaps and logistics bottlenecks requires stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors to ensure that development plans and investments align with the needs of industry.

In response, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) in Western Visayas will convene the Executive Dialogue Series, an exclusive platform for engagement among senior decision-makers from government and the private sector. The inaugural dialogue, titled "Infrastructure & Logistics Competitiveness in Western Visayas," will take place in June 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Iloilo City.

This session will bring together corporate executives, logistics providers, infrastructure developers, investors, and government representatives to discuss key challenges and opportunities in strengthening the region's infrastructure and logistics ecosystem.

This dialogue aims to:

• Identify priority infrastructure and logistics issues affecting business operations in Western Visayas
• Facilitate strategic dialogue between the public and private sectors to address key challenges and opportunities
• Generate insights that can support infrastructure planning and regional investment priorities
