The ECCP is looking for a Business Consultancy and Research Officer (BCRO) to join our team!

Job Description: 

  • Manage business inquiries and service requests from ECCP members and non-members, including market entry support, business matching, introductions, and other customized business services.

  • Lead the development and delivery of flagship publications and knowledge products, including the Doing Business in the Philippines Guidebook.

  • Conduct market research, industry studies, business intelligence, company profiling, contact identification, and investment facilitation.

  • Plan and implement consultancy-related activities, including business missions, investment roundtables, market briefings, and networking sessions.

  • Develop ECCP research outputs, including economic indicator updates, customized studies, and client-specific research.

  • Deliver secretariat and business support services in accordance with client agreements.

  • Support strategies to strengthen the quality, reach, and revenue-generating potential of ECCP’s consultancy and research services.

  • Coordinate with relevant ECCP departments to ensure efficient and integrated project and service delivery.

  • Represent the department in committee meetings and stakeholder engagements, and maintain relationships with government agencies, business organizations, development partners, and academic institutions.

  • Supervise interns and support staff, and assist in project monitoring, reporting, and documentation.

  • Perform other duties and special assignments as directed by the Executive Director and/or Director of Operations.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.

  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in research, consultancy, project management, or business development.

  • Strong research, analytical, writing, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines effectively.

  • Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with research databases, CRM systems, or data analysis tools is an advantage.
